Test Report

In order to substantiate the claims that COLOP uses, the products have been independently testet using the ISO 22196:2007 Test method. This is an internationally recognised test method for evaluating the antibacterial activity of treated plastic parts, such as the handles and touch surfaces of COLOP stamps.

Testing carried out in May 2010 provides the following results, allowing COLOP to claim a 99.9% reduction in harmful bacteria, such as E. coli, S. aureus, MRSA and Salmonella.



The graph above has been generated from the test results achieved during the testing conducted in 2013 and demonstrates graphically the performance COLOP achieved, in this case for E. coli. The actual results are shown in the table below.
